My Time in Kenya
I lived in Isiolo, Kenya for nearly three years, working as a mwalimu (teacher) at the Isiolo School for the Deaf, concering issues of HIV & AIDS. When I returned home I kept in touch with a few people via email and phone calls, but gathering information about Isiolo hasn't been exactly easy. So this blog is a place to disseminate the small amount of information that I have gathered from friends back in Kenya, and also in Chicago, and a point for connecting with others to further facilitate knowledge and discussion about current events and the challenges that Kenyans are facing.
